It worked great for about 2 weeks (bought this for my hubby). And then the battery wouldn’t recharge anymore. We are now waiting for a new battery pack.

I got this new chopper from syma. the manual is horribly translated. (made in china)
the heli spun uncontrollably. the manual, in broken english, suggests adjusting the potentiometer. unfortunately this model does not have one. after alot of gess work and patience i figured out that the trim is adjusted on the left and right shoulder buttons. it took a while to finally get it straightened out, but it is possible to adjust the trim so i had to rewrite the review. it is fun once you get the hang of it, but it is still way too weak to work outside with even a slow wind. i was flying it and the leaves weren’t even moving on the trees but it still managed to be thrown off course. on a plus side. i own some nice country side and managed to fly it up pretty high. it hit a tree and slammed face first into the ground. not even a scratch. pretty durable from what i’ve experienced. inside however, it works well. but because of it’s size it is hard to practice indoors.
Ultimately, i would rather own the micro version. it may not be suited to the outdoors at all, but indoors, it is still a fun toy that won’t break anything. the same cannot be said for this one.
